Catching Up

Wow time flies!! Here are a few pictures from

over the summer. So much has been going on so

Belize was amazing! We Snorkeled, went to the Mayan Ruins, did a

River Boat Tour, Kayaked and just layed on the beach. We were pretty

lazy, but it was so nice. It was so nice to spend time with just my

husband and actually get to have a conversation with out being

interrupted! After about the 6th day I was really ready

to see my kids!!! They did so good at my moms, I was

really impressed! Here are a few pictures. I will do a

slide show later when I have more time. This is our Ocean Front Casita. It was so fun. We

opened our curtains, layed in bed and looked at

our view of the ocean. It was so peaceful to wake up

to the sound of the ocean every morning.

We definitely will go back to Belize. It was so
beautiful. The Jungles were gorgeous and the
water was amazing!!! Maybe next time we will
take the kids......maybe!

UP UP AND AWAY!!!!

Holy cow, I can't believe we are leaving for our trip tomorrow!! We have had this planned for a year and I can't believe it is here!! I am so so so so so SOOOO sad to leave my kids. When I really think about it I get sick to my stomach. I know they are in good hands with my mom. The girls have been so excited, they keep asking when we are leaving. I just hope Dre doesn't miss mama too much!!!! I have been hauling stuff to my moms for three days now (clothes, bikes, etc). It has been a lot of work to prepare for this trip, so now I am really excited to lay on the beach and be LAZY! I'll be posting pictures after we get home!!!!!!

We went to Cade's family reunion over the weekend.

They did old time photos of all the families. It was alot

of fun. Cade and I look like total dorks, but the

kids look cute!

Tiger

The other day I had to go to the dentist. I asked the girls where they wanted to go while I went.
Cadee told me she wanted to go to Gracelyn's house (my cousins little girl). Ashlee then said, "no I don't want to go there, I think they have a tiger." I laughed so hard. Beware of the tiger up the road (they are also our neighbors).

I haven't been keeping up on my blog, I need to get better at it. The last couple weeks have been a little crazy, but hopefully things will get better soon. I almost can't wait for winter, this summer has been so crazy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it, but we have not stopped!!

just told today that she is a spitting image of me.

OK so I have been a total slacker. Acutally, I had over 300 pictures on my camera and my computer kept freezing up when I tried down loading them. I finally got my pictures on a CD, so here is what we have been up to for the last two months..............

Denver Trip

We went to Denver with the Jepperson Family.
We went to a Rockies Game and the Denver Aquarium.
It was a short trip, but we had a lot of fun. Dre and Ashlee
were both sick, but were little troopers. I am always
impressed at how well they behave when we travel. Alot
of people tell us we are brave to take them to the places
we do, but I guess I expect alot out of my kids.
I don't put up with any crap. Boy I am just making
myself sound like a wonderful mother, aren't I?
Anyway, the little girl on the right is our adopted daughter.

Preschool Graduation

I can't believe my Cadee Bug has graduated Preschool.
I am not ready for her to be in Kindergarten. She wanted
to start Kindergarten the day after Preschool was over.
I hope she will stay this excited about school
because I sure didn't!!

Poor Cadee Bug!!

On Friday I heard a blood curdling scream, followed

by Cadee running to me, her face and hands covered

in blood. Ashlee accidentally hit her in the eye with

a Mag flash light (you know those really heavy metal ones).

At first I thought she did it on purpose, but after hearing the

story of what had happend, I was glad to learn that my 3

year old isn't the demon I was thinking she was, J/K.

Cadee did really good getting her stitches, she didn't

really even cry. I told her if she held really still he could

fix it faster, then we could get out of there!! The doctor

gave her a teddy bear for being so good.

She has been handling it well, I told her she looks

like frankenstein with purple make-up on.

She can't wait to show her class and has been

calling everyone to tell them what happened. At least

she can laugh about it!!

Happy Birthday To My Princess!

I'm a week late posting pictures, but I had to post these. Cadee is definately the Princess around here, at least she likes to think so! My sister-in-law Lindsey did her hair, she looked so pretty! She kept posing for me and saying "wait mom, how about this?" Ya gotta love that girl! I can't believe my first baby is 5 years old! Kindergarten is right around the corner, which sounds so scary to me, but she can't wait! I wish I could just slow time down, I could freeze my kids at this point right now and be happy. I love every moment with all of them!

Happy Birthday my little Princess. I love you so much. Keep sweet and compassionate and you will go far in life with those two traits. You always look out for your brother and sister, and they adore you for it. You keep mom and dad on their toes, but you show us so much love that we wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. I think one of the things I love the most about you is hearing your sweet, sincere prayers. You care about everyone you know and genuinely want the best for them. You are definately mature for your age in that way and you amaze me every day! I need to follow your example and look at life the way you do! I love You Cadee Bug!

Family Party

We had a family party for Cadee's birthday at our house. We rented a huge blow up slide and a jump house. All I can say is it was a blast. Even the adults were having fun on the slide. I had no idea how big it was going to be until they set it up. When you climbed to the top of it, you could see over our house. Note to self.....Jump House is a waste of money when you have a gigantic slide to go down!
